Shares of Salesforce $CRM rose more than 8 % after posting strong third quarter results.

The company beat analysts' expectations, posting year-over-year revenue growth of 8% to $9.44 billion. In addition, net income increased to USD 1.5 billion, an increase of 25% more than a year ago.
