Amgen and its MariTide programme: Is the stock drop worth the buying opportunity?
Amgen $AMGN recently disclosed the results of its obesity treatment candidate MariTide, which has completed Phase II clinical trials. Although the stock responded with a drop of more than 12%, it closed the day with only a 4.7% decline. The market viewed the results as less promising compared to... Read more
Overall, the industry has a lot of potential right now. I'm probably most interested in $NVO so far and the stock is pretty down right now, so I'm thinking about buying.
Some time ago I was quite interested in VARTA. I think everyone knows their products, but I was surprised that it is a publicly traded company. Shares of $VAR1.DE are very volatile, but some of the price movements/changes are quite interesting. I don't own shares of this company and won't be buying for my portfolio, but it could be an interesting stock to speculate on.

🚨 Dramatic drop in Symbotic shares! On Wednesday, shares of Symbotic $SYM, a company that makes artificial intelligence robots for warehouse automation, plunged by 36 %. Today, however, they're gaining more than 12 %! The main reason for the drop was newly revealed accounting errors that cast doubt on its financial results for fiscal year 2024.
The SP500 is making new ATH again. The index recently crossed the 6000 point mark and the total appreciation for this year is 26%. I still regularly add $CSPX.L every month , but I'm currently not sending as much money there and prefer to accumulate cash.
How do you currently feel about the SP500? Are you still buying or do you think the index is too expensive?

Company The Walt Disney Company $DIS plans to significantly expand its cruise fleet and double revenue from this segment by 2027. Cruises are becoming a key part of the company's growth strategy, with the goal of competing with flagship segments such as ESPN.
Disney could grow again now. I have a smaller position in the portfolio and have long-term confidence in the company, so we'll see how the company does in 2025.
📊 HP shares: under pressure, but with an interesting vision for the future! Shares of HP Inc. $HPQ fell more than a quarter after announcing quarterly results 11 %, reflecting the challenges associated with the personal computer and printing markets.
Dell reported results yesterday that were pretty good, but the outlook for the future was not so positive, which is why $DELLstock subsequently fell 12% . Overall, I think Dell is a pretty nice company with nice growth, and in theory this drop could be an interesting buying opportunity.
Will anyone be buying $DELL after yesterday's drop?

$GOOG is one of my biggest positions in my portfolio. I sincerely hope they keep the Chrome one, as otherwise it would be a very big deal.

The index may be up, but it will continue to rise for a long time. As for ETFs, I would invest in them regularly and still the same amount.
