The company has its roots in the United States of America, specifically in the town of Pittsburg, Texas, where it was founded in 1946. Its founder, Bo Pilgrim, along with his brother Aubrey, started out raising and processing chickens on a small scale, but through their innovative approach and hard work, the company quickly grew.
