What did you think of yesterday's $AAPLevent ? I'm not that impressed with the new iPhones, but I've been wondering this since I was 13. The new and more powerful chips are definitely interesting. But what I like most are the new AirPods and their features. I especially like that they take the place of a hearing aid (not that I need it :D).
The new generation AirPods Pro 2 in particular have been given new health features. According to the company, there are roughly 1.5 billion people living with significant hearing impairment, many of whom don't have access to a doctor and professional audiological aids at all.

A software update is coming this fall that will make it possible to now do your own audiological testing with clinically proven accuracy. Just stick AirPods Pro in your ears and follow the instructions in the app. The result will be an ear sensitivity curve for different frequencies.
The headphones will also use this measured data to process the signal to your ears in a tailored way, so they can also function as audiological aids - hearing aids.
Lots of new features. The Iphone looks good, the headphones too, but I was most impressed by the camera button and the new camera options
Great event and lots of cool stuff, but I'm especially looking forward to next year's IPhone 17
The airpods look good and I like the idea of a hearing aid.
I've been following it too and there's really a lot of news. I think the thing I like the most is the camera upgrade and its conveniences.
I watched the event like I do every year. I have to say that the best part for me was the demo of the new features for the Air Pods pro as I use them. I have an iPhone 15, so there is absolutely no reason for me to upgrade. I was expecting more with the watch. I have a 5 series and I figured I might as well replace it. But I won't use the new features anyway.
