One would even look for opportunities and investments in India, but then an article like this pops up and you want to back out again 😁
Adani stocks tumble, hit lower circuit on US bribery, fraud charges By Investing.com
Everyone has probably caught a glimpse of the Adani case, unless you're just focused on the US sandbox. Well, long story short - More practices by the giant and their boss are surfacing again. Adani, who is one of the world's richest men, has been accused of paying Indian government officials bribes of more than $250 million to win solar power contracts that were supposed to bring in profits of more than $2 billion... Well this company is all over India and has roots and people everywhere you look. Is there any point in even looking for opportunities there, or just do the nice old boring thing and buy some ETFs and bye bye? What do you think?
I haven't come across any interesting stock so far, so I'm just watching it and not investing in it
For me, the best solution at the moment is ETFs and I would end it there.
Yeah, I've been watching it, too. Pretty interesting news. I'm only planning to buy some ETFs next year for now and then see what happens.
