PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk, also known as BNI, is an Indonesian state-owned bank headquartered in Jakarta. Established in 1946 as the country's first commercial bank, it currently operates over 2,000 branches across Indonesia and has a presence in several other countries, including Singapore, Hong Kong, Tokyo, Amsterdam, London, and New York. In 2021, it had more than 63 million customers. BNI is publicly traded on the Indonesia Stock Exchange under the ticker BBNI.
