Hey a few years back I remember everyone telling me that buying $AAPL+0.0% was nonsense, that it wasn't going to grow anymore. Well 300%... I'm not complaining 🤷‍♂️ This is a stock I'm probably not going to sell even if I could see that the valuation was already completely nonsense. In fact, it seems to me that it completely defies all conventional methods and rules.

Exactly, the business is unreal and $AAPL+0.0% stock is awesome. I also hold and plan to hold for several years, even decades.

Same here 🙋‍♂️

Please don't take this the wrong way, but similar posts/comments just remind me how overpriced the market is and it deserves a decent correction. Even a company of this quality will not avoid a price drop (2018 approx -35%, 2020 approx -30%, 2022 approx -25%, 2x approx -15%). I wish everyone (unrealized) profits, but the price in most cases follows the financial results of the company.

I don't think Apple is this example because profits have not grown 300%. 2022-2018 EPS grew annually by 8.91%, 71.04%, 10.44%, -0.34%, 29.40% and that was helped a lot by the (overpriced) stock buyback of about -20%.

The PE ratio rose from 18.32 to 31.20, while the net margin increased from 22.41% to 25.31%, whether this growth is deserved, let everyone judge for themselves.

Agreed, even though I have written and write here about Apple as a super company, super products that I use myself, but these rapid increases also seem like too much and I believe in correction. It should come, it would be so right. Anyway, even if it does come and it goes down again maybe 20-25%, I will hold or buy in, because such companies will be here I think in good quality even in decades, due to their size and capabilities I don't believe they will let any emerging competition escape.

$AAPL+0.0% 🍏💝

This company is the biggest and best in the world. If this one doesn't grow, nothing will.

Apple is simply Appl, there is no company that can match them, no wonder they make up such a large and substantial part of Berkshire's portfolio.

Well, to be fair, the big position there is because they got in very early.

True, but then why wouldn't it be sold? Berkshire trusts Apple even now, even though the % has grown over time...

I'm amazed at how cheap it was during the covid slump, or even before the covid. We can only dream about that now.

And of course I don't have a crystal ball, but I'm not afraid to take a shot from the side, he probably won't even look that low... With vision came a new era and the possibility of expansion

I wouldn't be afraid to say that either. I can't imagine a scenario where Apple would go this low.

Again, I'll join you in agreeing with you. For me, Apple is a great darling. And I'm looking forward to see where VR takes it because even in this I think it will have no competition in time, I'm not shopping now, I don't want to spoil my mediocrity, but I might start anyway because I'll go for the new ATH for sure.

We're on a new ATH right now :) and I'm thinking of trying to "time the market" and sell for the first time... wait for "something" and then jump back in... only problem is I don't see that "something" bad happening now to knock the stock down a bit to make the "risk" worthwhile :)

Yeah, I'm a little bit, though. 😊 Right, well, I'd like to buy cheaper too, but it's all a rush now and if the Fed doesn't raise, as it shouldn't, it'll boost the growth
