How do you see AMC stock $AMC-0.9%? I've been seeing a lot of talk lately (especially from American investors) comparing their future to $BBBY and expecting a similar jump from $5 over there to $30. The reason is unclear to me though.

All things considered, AMC is planning a lot of moves, but none of them should cause growth. On the contrary, they want to issue new shares and are looking for additional capital to run.

Anyone here have insight?

A big covid boom from which the stock will probably not recover for many years. Right now, it's really just something to watch

I'll admit it. I don't watch it anymore. It's one of the two titles where I got burned early in my investing, I put $100 into it and I'm something like 80% in the red, so I've been told I'll hold on if they come back from the dead, but I'm not counting on it, it's already come back elsewhere. So if they're looking for ways, go for it. 😂

Classic, they speculate and that's why they see similarities to BBBY here. But the truth is that the similarities are so the share price. They want to get new shares and in addition they are doing something with the APE using strange moves to convert it to equity.
