I'm definitely a long-term investor and may do some medium-term trades in the future, but that's about it.
I rather hold long term, but sometimes medium term (bought in May sold in August - if it is medium term :D) I am interested in trading, but I don't practice
I'm a trader and an investor. What I earn in trading I then invest in quality companies.
Some positions are for years, some for a month. On the shorter ones, I always set a target price at which I sell. Long-term I'll put, for example, $PFE+3.4% and $BTI+1.2%. Short term I've had recently like $WBD+4.0%, or $ENPH+1.5%.
