It's an interesting product extension, but I think the phone will have a very hard time...
If this is really the start of building an entire ecosystem and they really get it right, then Nio has a huge future :)
I think of it more as an interesting addition. If you're already going to splurge and buy a luxury EV, it's probably going to come with everything, including a cell phone.
Now it's just a question of how it will be worldwide... Cars will succeed here, I'm pretty sure... but will the phone succeed here against Apple and Samsung? In China probably yes but in the EU and US it's hard to say...
