🚀💰 Intel is expanding in America with a gigantic plan to invest over $100 billion! 💰🚀

Semiconductor giant Intel $INTC announced yesterday that it has received over $20 billion in federal funding thanks to the CHIPS and Science Act ! 🌟

Lately, I don't even know which news about Intel to believe and which one to take seriously, as we've seen in the past few weeks when Pentagon announced the withdrawal of its grant of $2.5 billionthat it announced the week before.

However, this money would have supported the development of chip manufacturing in four USstates, but also provided new factories and upgrades to existing facilities. Intel plans to invest more than$100 billion during five years to expand domestic chip manufacturing capacity, which is not only great news for Intel, but also for the economy and national security ofthe United States! I have to say that a$100 billion investment is already a good chunk of money, so I'm interested to see what Intel comes up with and if it will once again be at the top of the chip industry! Personally, I trustIntel, and I hope they will regain their former glory. 📈

IntelCEO Pat Gelsinger emphasized that this investment will enable the creation of AI chips that will be the most advanced in the world! The plan is to have chips under 2 nanometerswhich should be more advanced than those produced inTaiwan. They see another huge opportunity in the high demand for these chips. We are already seeing Intel Core Ultra chips used in new Microsoft devices ! 🧠💡

The main goal of this promotion is to increase America'sshare of advanced chip production from 0 % to 20 % by2030. Thus diversifying its semiconductor supply chain.

What do you think of Intel? 💼💡

The 100 billion INTC has to invest to keep up with the competition is money that an investor might otherwise get;) This is a company Buffett probably wouldn't invest in for $20.

Only time will tell if they make up for what they lost over the years, it would be a small miracle in this sector.

I'm still hesitating about Intel, for a long time I had the feeling that they are pretty much written off, but now it seems to me that it has caught fire like a phoenix :D

I've been following this Intel since the $25 a share price and I'm sorry I didn't go for it, I admit I no longer trusted the company thanks to successors from other chip technology lines. About what you write, it's such a one time, two times different and who knows. On the other hand, these government contracts/grants whether they come out in some amount or not, at least can give a good impression in my opinion that the company still has something to say and they probably have contacts, backers in interesting places if they can get such funding. 😊
