AT&T reported very positive results yesterday, which subsequently pushed the stock up 6%. For example, the company's net income rose 70% year-over-year. Shares of $T have been rising over the past few months, but it's still an uninteresting stock to me and I won't be investing in it.
What's your take on $T?
I have a smaller position, but I haven't bought in a long time. For a while I thought about selling the stock, but now after this growth I will definitely hold.
I think this is a terrible company that has already had major growth.
I think of this sector mainly as a dividend sector. These are quality companies.
So far it's a pretty distant environment for me, but I'd like a company of that focus. Or $VZ since providing phone service and internet networking is important too. Everyone wants AI, but we suck without connectivity or poor quality connectivity, so I'd like to find a leader in that and try to get a good jump on it there. 😊
