Shopify exceeded expectations, but outlook disappointed

-Strong results: Shopify $SHOP recorded $2.81 billion in revenue and total merchandise volume (GMV) reached $94.46 billion.

- Earnings per share: Results showed earnings of 44 cents per share, beating forecasts.

- Negative Outlook: However, the market was concerned about the weaker revenue outlook for the first quarter of 2025.

- Analyst Rating: J.P. Morgan still rates Shopify as Overweight with a $121 price target.

-Stock Volatility:$SHOP stock is up 30% after the latest results, but the new news has raised uncertainty about future margins.

Very much a growth company, but as an investment it didn't interest me much.

I wouldn't be so optimistic. I don't see why stocks should rise now as they did before.

The results were not bad at all, but the valuation is still very high.

Collectivity is strong and has shown solid numbers. Anyway, it seems to me that the stock is overvalued, and by much more than the $JPM shows, which says it's up by just $2 :)
