Do you have any ETFs in your portfolio that focus on a single sector?
I'm considering removing $CNDX.L because it overlaps with $CSPX.L, and instead I'd buy another ETF, ideally one focused on, for example, energy, cybersecurity, or the space sector.
I own NUKL.DE (uranium and nuclear technologies). Since the beginning of 2025 I’ve been DCA-ing the same amount every week and I plan to continue this year. I’m currently up about 60%.
My investment thesis isn’t particularly sophisticated. To me, nuclear energy is an absolute cornerstone for any advanced, energy-hungry country. Also, the expansion of data centers—which require an enormous amount of stable electricity without large fluctuations—is a perfect fit for this sector.
If anyone has a different opinion, I’d love to hear it.
Could I ask for some advice? I would like to cancel my daughter's building savings account and move the funds into ETFs, because the account maintenance fees and the 2,000 CZK state contribution seem meagre compared to what they could earn in indices over the next 13 years. I have recently moved most of my money into individual stocks, but I have kept and still regularly invest in $CSPX.L and $CNDX.Las a stable component of my portfolio .
Recently, the stock indices have finally fallen significantly. I recently bought $CNDX.L and I'm thinking about maybe buying some India and China focused ETFs as well.
The $^NDX index is up over 40% for the year, which is very respectable. I always buy into a portion of $^NDX at the beginning of the month for a certain amount and specifically buy $CNDX.L.
