Have you ever been affected by the FOMO effect? If so, in which investment or stock?
I got influenced by it in the beginning mainly in $NKE and $CVS. I did what everyone else was doing and was afraid of being left behind - which was a mistake. But I've taken a different approach over the last year, and I'm trying to be guided mostly by facts, not sentiment.
📡 Texas Instruments and the return to growth! After a long streak of nine quarters of declining sales and earnings , Texas Instruments $TXN is finally bouncing back from the bottom. Q1 2025 results brought positive sentiment. Shares jumped by more than 6 %.
For me, $ON is much more interesting and attractive. They have much more potential and the business works better. It's only a matter of time before the stock starts to rise.
What do you think of Intel's results? Does anyone else have $INTCstock in their portfolio?
I think the results were not too bad, but the company is still not doing well (detailed info is in flash news). I never had$INTC stock in my portfolio and I would definitely not invest in this company now.
Fidelity National Information Services $FIS has been below the investment radar despite offering a combination of recurring returns, low exposure to consumer fluctuations and an interesting valuation. Although the stock is down more than 7% since the start of 2025, analysts like Dan Kupferberg view FIS as a promising candidate for an earnings season rebound.
📊✈️ Boeing and improving results! After a wild period, cautious optimism is coming from Boeing $BA. Q1 2025 results point to a positive shift, but it remains overshadowed by ongoing challenges in manufacturing, geopolitics and brand credibility.
Do you have tobacco company stocks in your portfolio?
These dividend stocks are doing quite well this year, as $MO, $BTI and $PM-0.2% are up more than 10% since the beginning of the year. Last year I had $MO in my portfolio and was very happy, but this year I sold the dividend stocks and bought growth stocks.
📈 GE Aerospace: growth in times of global uncertainty GE Aerospace $GE is off to a strong start in 2025 at a time when most aerospace and defense companies are grappling with how to maintain margins under pressure from geopolitics, inflation and tariff barriers.
The results missed expectations and almost all items posted a loss. Still, $TSLAstock is up 5% in the after market, ostensibly due to Musk announcing that he'll be pulling out of DOGE next month to focus more on Tesla. I've already bought the stock this year and have pretty mixed feelings about these results.
📡 Verizon enters 2025 with an exciting performance! Today, Verizon Communications $VZ presented results for the first quarter of 2025 that exceeded expectations, confirming the company as a strong player in wireless and broadband services.

Shares of BlackRock, the world's largest investment asset manager, have already fallen more than 16% since the start of the year, which is not very common for such a firm. Overall, I find financial sector stocks cheap right now and see this as an interesting opportunity.
Are you buying shares of $BLK? Do you have any stocks from this sector on your watchlist right now?
🚗 Infineon strengthens in automotive. Do you have any stocks in your portfolio that you invest in regularly using DCA?
I don't invest in individual stocks regularly yet, but I'm thinking it might not be a bad idea to invest regularly in $AMZN or $AAPL, for example .

I don't have one in my portfolio at night and I only invest once. If I wanted to invest regularly, I would choose SP500.

The results are great, but it sucks that the tariffs just affect these companies quite a bit.

It will probably affect everybody to some extent, but it's important to really look at the fundamentals and the numbers.

I know a little $MRVL, but I don't have a single stock in my portfolio. But it could be very beneficial for both companies.
