The fall of $ZIM+1.0% after poor results.

I'll just add that the company is pretty well known when it comes to merchant shipping, mostly because of its dividend. Unfortunately the results have been so bad that the current div. payout date is on hold.

I don't have this company in my portfolio, but I was looking at it when it was mentioned here. Dividend nice and growth was seen, with the company looking to grow and think more about environmentalism in transportation. But unfortunately the results were poor, hence the dividend should have been missed at least once from what I read and the next one probably won't be like that. The drop and the share price will probably still be there? ...What do you think, is it up for consideration and will it float back to the surface or is this company already slowly sinking to the bottom? ...

I think after these results and with that outlook, it will go under $10. I discovered this stock sometime in 2021, but unfortunately I laughed it off as a dividend trap then and didn't buy it without further research. I hesitated.

So now there's another chance, I think it's gonna go down, too.

I don't understand why it pays such a dividend. Perhaps there is no way that this is sustainable. Otherwise, I believe it might even be a decent company, but alas.

It is, it's crazy to sustain it long term. As I wrote, I don't have this company, but I wanted to share this because I've noticed quite a few people following it here. For me, I added it to my broker's watch list and I think it will go down a bit more before I might consider buying. As a focus it's not a bad company, but unfortunately now as you write. :)

It's quite a fun industry, but I prefer to remain an observer. 😁
