I combine both. 😊

How do you distinguish whether a stock is a value stock or a growth stock? Because, for example, with Apple, I don't know where to classify it :)

It's very complicated and everyone sees it differently. I thought for a long time whether I would mark aapl on this status what value action. I rate it by share price growth, fundamentals, how long the company has been on the market, whether it pays a dividend, etc...

It's complicated :D

Okay, I get it... we feel the same way :-D

The line is thin. I would see Apple as more of a growth company. Anyway, I only buy ones that look undervalued. I'd rather avoid any growth stocks that are likely to have similar index performance.

Great, we're a lot alike. Otherwise, that's the question I've been asking myself, whether $AAPL+0.5% is a value stock or a growth stock, and I've been hesitant for a long time to label aapl as a value stock in its status.

I don't have a set style yet, I'm just building my portfolio and my view is that you do it for years, so I have a value, what is $AAPL+0.5% and I want to have that for many years, so I will gradually reinvest. But then I also look at dividend stocks or I also try and find growth ones that maybe I know I have to make an income, maybe sell in a year with an income and then put that into value, I have 31 titles right now but just to hopefully make some money and gradually I want to reduce that to about 20 and hold that for years.

Great, I also plan to hold most of the shares for several years to decades.

Yep, that should probably be every investor's main goal, but I'm not afraid to even have just some, I call it "seasonal" even though then with more capital I'll have to admit it because I'll break the 3 year time frame. Like solar companies, like $ENPH+3.8% I know I just have it for earnings, or airline, or maybe $ABNB+1.0% where I don't think they have bigger profits over the summer than in the winter so I have it for speculation and hopefully earnings. 😁
