I'm currently investing quite a bit in dividend stocks as tech stocks are too expensive :D. Otherwise for me it's $BTI+0.1% and $MO+0.3%.
I'm taking the same approach you are right now.
6% in total is not exactly small...Otherwise I have dividend titles in my portfolio, but their payouts don't feed me yet :)
