Integrated Transportation Services $ZIM-0.5% reported third-quarter earnings per share of -$18.90, missing analysts' estimates of $1.48 by $17.42. Revenue for the quarter was $1.27 billion, compared to the consensus estimate of $1.29 billion. What do you think of the results?
I'm not invested, but I'm lightly watching so more the way it's falling and aren't you worried that it's going to fail quite realistically, especially still with the dividend? Wouldn't it be better to stop the dividend?
The possibility of not surviving is definitely there.
I wish it would survive, but as I write, as a ceo I would give a lot of thought to abolishing the dividend. I understand that it's a move that would mean another outflow of investors, but I'd rather lose them in the short term than sink completely thanks to debt and have an expense in that dividend ...well, I don't know.
