Intel without Gelsinger: What's in store for the tech giant?
On Monday, December 2, 2024, Intel announced that CEO Pat Gelsinger has stepped down after a challenging period during which he faced market share losses, slowing growth and a failure to seize the opportunity presented by artificial intelligence. Gelsinger became CEO in February 2021, when he returned to the company he had worked at for many years and took over to try to reverse its previous stagnation.
