A lot of the talk around me lately has been $DIS+1.6% vs $NFLX+1.8%, which one has more investment potential. But today I was surprised to see that Amazon Prime Video is number one in the US with 21% of the market, while Netflix has 20%. $AMZN+2.5% is just going.

So it's not just $MSFT-0.1% that has resorted to a big investment in AI this year in the form of an investment in OpenAI. $AMZN+2.5% has announced that it will invest up to $4 billion in artificial intelligence startup Anthropic.
As part of the deal, Anthropic will use Amazon's custom chips in its AI software. Amazon then agreed to use its startup partner's technology in its...

Investors, what stocks have you been most interested in recently and why?
I've been interested in $AMZN+2.5%, $NKE+0.2% and $CVX-0.3% stocks lately. I see some potential in all three stocks, and $NKE+0.2% and $CVX-0.3% are at a nice price recently. Plus, all three stocks are from a completely different sector. Tech. stocks are already in my portfolio, but NKE and CVX could...

Have a good weekend, investors. How do you feel about the dependence of tech giants like $MSFT-0.1% $GOOGL+0.7% $AMZN+2.5% on artificial intelligence chips from $NVDA+1.7%?
These tech giants are progressing in developing their own chips for their data centers with AI deployment. An important example is $MSFT-0.1% 's recent investment in d-Matrix, a company that designs optimized...

It's very possible that the tech companies will make the chips themselves and won't be so dependent on Nvidia.
Big tech companies are "threatened" by the European Union + Apple is now in trouble in China.
Amazon $AMZN+2.5%, Alphabet $GOOG+0.8%, Apple $AAPL+0.5%, Microsoft $MSFT-0.1%, Meta $META+2.3% and ByteDance (is a Chinese internet technology company) now have six months to comply with stricter market rules.

I don't really get it and it annoys me terribly ( to put it politely). As soon as a country, or in this case the EU, needs money it goes after companies that are doing well. It pisses me off that when a country or the EU needs money and they have a huge debt they go after these companies. Otherwise, I'm not worried about Apple. Apple will and probably already is building factories in India and will target India, so I don't see a problem there.
I Despite the fact that $AMZN+2.5% stock is currently pretty high I am thinking about including $AMZN+2.5% stock in my portfolio. According to the Bulios indicator, the stock is overvalued by over 30%, but in the long run I wouldn't be afraid to buy even at the current price. I would want to hold Amazon stock for the long term and if the share price gets below $120, I would...

I also like the company and have it in my portfolio. As you write with and others here agree, as per the log term why not, surely in maybe 10 years the price will be a lot different, I expect upside. 😊 As for how much it is overvalued, to some extent it is individual. It's great to know a fair price, or be able to calculate it, but it depends on what parameters you put in, although most are the same from spreadsheets, there are a few that are just yours so it can vary. I personally don't buy yet, my purchase is something around $100 and I figure I'm not out of the woods yet so if we got lower, like the $120 you mention, I'd be overbuying. 😊

Unfortunately, neither, but I did manage to buy at least $AAPL+0.5% and $GOOGL+0.7% shares.
Have a great Wednesday, I re-bought $AMZN+2.5% at the beginning of August and am considering setting up an order on DCA, I believe it is one of the top companies long term. How do you feel about $AMZN+2.5%?

I've been thinking about that, too. I'll take a closer look at this company, but in the long run I probably wouldn't be afraid to buy at the current price.
The SP500 index is up over 14% for the year, which is very respectable. The $SPY+0.9% is up this year mainly due to technology stocks, which are up tens of % this year and some are even up over 100%, such as $NVDA+1.7% or $META+2.3%. The SP500 is rising this year mainly thanks to $AAPL+0.5%, $MSFT-0.1%, $NVDA+1.7%, $META+2.3%, $AMZN+2.5% and $GOOGL+0.7%. However, the question...

It's growing incredibly and it makes me happy, but I would be happier if I had AMZN stock in my poetfolio :D
Overwhelmingly pleased with Amazon's $AMZN+2.5% results. We're seeing growth in revenue (+11% yoy), earnings, earnings per share, the AWS segment (+12% yoy and that's not even properly reflecting the AI bet) and the advertising business is up 22%. Good old Amazon is back 🔥 In the aftermarket the stock jumped almost +9%.
Plus, Amazon said it expects its Q3 sales to grow 9% to 13%...

Investors, which company's results surprised you the most this week and which company's results are you looking forward to next week?
I was certainly pleased with $GOOGL's+0.7% results and surprised by $MMM'+0.4%s results as I was expecting much worse given the situation they are currently in. As for next week, I'm looking forward to and interested in the results of $PFE+0.8%, $...

I have shares of $GOOGL+0.7% in my portfolio and would like to buy shares of $MSFT-0.1% below. I agree with Peter and Luke, I also have more faith in Google and Microsoft.
What do you think is the most illogically priced company right now? For example, $AMZN+2.5% has a P/E of 313 and it's hard to think it can grow in a way that makes sense... on speculation maybe. But do you have any other fim that is completely nonsensically overvalued given its intrinsic value and potential?
