IBM disappointed despite solid results: AI is beginning to threaten the core of the business $IBM
IBM’s results for the first quarter of 2026 didn’t look bad at first glance. The company beat analysts’ expectations on both revenue and earnings — revenue rose by about 9% to $15.9 billion and earnings per share reached $1.91. Yet the stock plunged. And it’s precisely this market... Read more
I’ll admit I don’t know. I never followed this company and it flew under my radar. Only recently, when I was looking into companies around quantum technology — or rather those involved in some kind of research — this firm popped up for me.
It’s true that AI is a major shift now: progress that companies will either keep up with, build businesses on, or that will push them out of the game. So far I haven’t heard of IBM in connection with AI, so I understand the drop. But it’s not the end of the story yet — maybe they’ll come up with something.
Shares of $AMD yesterday surpassed $300 for the first time in history, which is a significant milestone. I bought my first shares when they were still under $100, and currently $AMD is the largest position in my portfolio. If it keeps up at this pace, we might see $400 this year. I will definitely keep holding the shares as long as the valuation makes sense.
Hold and hold — target $600 by 2030! It’s a machine charging forward! There are risks, of course: if the AI boom slows, the market will price that in immediately. I believe the company will go far.
Boeing surprised Wall Street: Rising deliveries are finally reducing losses $BA
Boeing's results for the first quarter of 2026 finally suggest that the long‑awaited turnaround is starting to have real foundations. The company remains in a loss, but results beat analysts' expectations, mainly thanks to improving production and higher aircraft deliveries. Those deliveries are the... Read more
I feel the same as Lukáš and plan to hold for several more years. I'd only sell at an absurd valuation (for example, if the stock rose above $500 this year).
I see the change as a challenge. I use Apple products and it was one of my first investments—I still hold it to this day and plan to keep holding. I like the company, and even though I think they’ve fallen behind in some areas and their AI isn’t top‑tier, I believe a company doesn’t have to be the best at everything. Apple is about design, simplicity, smoothness, and the ecosystem. That’s mainly why I own it and want to keep it.
There are things where partnerships can work if they’re set up well. We already have plenty of AI chat, so I’m curious how the new leadership will take it and which direction they’ll go. I’d like to see the Apple Vision glasses become more widely available. From the videos I’ve seen, the experience looks beautiful, and they could become number one there again. 😊
