I'm hearing this for the first time, too. Maybe fine, but I wouldn't put too much value on it at all and wouldn't act on it.
It's a pretty familiar thing and now they've tweaked it, it shows the supposed value (not price) of Bitcoin.
I don't really focus on Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies, so I don't know much about it. But thanks for the info.
