The first Tiktok ban in the US.
Montana yesterday became the first US state to ban Tiktok. The whole thing is likely to have a court case that will quite possibly decide the future course of action.
This could be the catalyst for a US-wide ban on Tiktok, which would strongly benefit $META+3.9%.
I don't think they'll ban it across the US, I could see people taking to the streets over it or then someone bringing it up at the polls as their agenda to bring it back :D if that happened $META+3.9% has the perfect override.
If they banned ticking in the US, that would be great news for $META+3.9% and I would certainly appreciate it.
So they'll think of another thing 😁 I don't think they'll just get over it... They'll come up with something to get around it, call it Tiktok 2 😁 or some other name and move on... These people have the means 😁
Meta has been benefiting for the last few months and it shows in the share price. If they really do ban TikTok, it will be big news and a big hit to the lives of Americans. I don't use the app, but I see it all over the place. These people can't do without it anymore...
