My favorite DIVIDEND stock $PBR-1.4% is up +48% year to date. How are you doing on the growth nonsense that also doesn't pay a dividend? You literally get nothing out of them because you're afraid to sell them anyway 😜.

PBR
$16.43 -$0.23 -1.37%

One-year performance nice, five-year performance zero...

It wants to count dividends

Pretty redundant comment, but at least I've checked https://finviz.com/ where there are 498 companies with a stock valuation above 50% YTD WITHOUT a dividend and 26 companies with a dividend higher than Spy (+2%), btw Spy has outperformed PBR by about 55% for 10 years ;)

Definitely not a useless comment :)

So what's the point of the comment?

I'm not praising $PBR-1.4% specifically, that was just an example - those 26 companies will undoubtedly be quality companies... the rest will mostly be bubble driven speculation

You've gone through those 500 companies pretty fast that you can say that btw if you don't spend the money from dividends, but reinvest it back, you haven't actually earned anything either;)

I sold my Nvidia growth nonsense with 160% profit, not complaining 😀

But how many such people are there who will realize the profit? Everyone says how they have an exit strategy and then greed overcomes them anyway.

I also realized gains in all of these AI stocks. I wouldn't.

Well, whoa, sir. I'm fine with that, but a "boring" $AAPL+6.0% is also +48% and pays a dividend. Not that big but it's there So you could continue with $MSFT+2.2% for example. I don't think it's accurate to apply it to everything like that. Even speculators like those on $GME+29.4% also made 48% this year and could have sold at a higher profit. So far this year the hype is all over the place after last year's plunge, almost everything is rising.

But these are quality companies that will go through the correction anyway. But I keep reading about nonsense like $PLTR+3.4% or $AI+3.8%

Sure, I don't classify $PLTR+3.4% as a completely inferior stock in my book, but it's true that the "prestige" the company has built up here helps a lot. But, for example, $AI+3.8% is completely out of my league and I would never invest there. It will be the same chart as $GME+29.4%

I, for one, am happy with the performance of the $NVDA+3.5% growth nonsense. And I made a profit 🤷‍♂️

On $NVDA+3.5%, the gain is even much greater. Sometimes boring familiar stocks are the best choice after all.

Yeah... but if all the speculators keep it here for a few more months, their cries of bursting will be heard all the way over here
