I haven't even thought about this sector and I have no idea what stocks or etfs I should invest in. But it is an interesting sector.

I also find the industry attractive.

Do you have any tips on any specific stocks ?

Honestly I haven't even thought about it yet and I probably wouldn't go for it, but I don't have much insight into the companies involved

Yeah, I get it.

Anyway, it's never too late to learn:)

I would stay away from it, these companies have no competitive advantage. This is a commodity where there are not big barriers to entry and there will be very small margins.

Well, as far as recreational use is concerned, the margins could be similar to those of the classic pyro cigarette companies.

I'll admit right away that I have no idea what the legalization looks like in reality, but purely theoretically, if cultivation is allowed for legal entities, then it's the same for individuals in a certain amount. Unlike tobacco, presumably anyone can get the seeds and grow and dry for their own use the variety they want and it will work out cheaper even in that small quantity than if they bought it processed somewhere?

Jn. As Mark writes. $ACB-2.8% and $TLRY-0.6%.

What happened to $ACB-2.8%?

It has a future, but the question is when it will take off in a big way. There have been a few companies here, but they haven't caught on.

Personally, I'm fine with just the potential exposure through classic snuff. They could give the switch in a heartbeat and be the leading companies in this sector as well due to their strong position.

So legalization is already taking off in a big way, and within 10 years most developed countries may have legalized.

It's taking off, but it may take longer than we think. 10 years is an awfully long time for me to invest now. I'm a fan of legalization myself and look forward to seeing how the market develops.
