Hey, guys,
We all have some diversification in our investment portfolios, like the technology sector ($GOOG, $NVDA) or banking ($JPM, $BAC) and other various sectors...
I would be interested to know if anyone invests in bonds, for example, and if so, where and how they do it.
Roughly how much cash do you try to hold (as a % of your portfolio)?
So I personally hold the most cash and then stocks and some gold. Bonds are missing from my portfolio for now, so I'm looking for inspiration.
Thanks for the replies!
I diversify my holdings amongst myself and try to have about 10% in cash.
Bonds are great. I was planning on buying US Treasury bonds. I ended up not getting around to it as I don't really know where to buy it.
Real estate is great for diversification.
As a diversification, real estate ( probably a garage) is the most appealing to me so far. Otherwise I don't want to buy bonds. I'll buy those when I'm older.
Not in a bond, but I have some physical gold. That's not a chapter in itself.
