NASDAQ-100 $^NDX-0.1%

Hey investors, there has been a lot of writing about technology stocks lately.

I'd like to mention here the technology index $^NDX-0.1%, which nicely measures the performance of technology stocks and is already up over 30% this year.

^NDX
19,678.27 -22.86 -0.12%

So far this year, the index has been pulled up the most by $NVDA-2.3% and $META+0.2% stocks.

I personally invest in it every month and buy even more if there is any outperformance.

How about you, are you also investing in the NASDAQ-100?

If so, can you possibly post whether you are waiting for a better price or you don't consider price when buying.

I have ETFs on DCA, I buy on a bigger drop, I don't sell, I accumulate. 💰💪

Which ETF are you investing in? With the SP500 many pop into my head, not here.

Ndq100 is a good alternative for young investors with 30+ horizon. There's a good chance it will beat most major indices and it delivered nice results for me a couple of years ago. I would probably expect a slightly better price today, but for regular purchases see horizon above, it probably doesn't matter.

Today, it's really only driven by a few big stocks that have giant market capitalizations. If a correction comes, I'll just be happy.

I don't buy the Nasdaq either, I follow it yes, because as you say, it shows the tech sector doing great, but then I buy companies I like individually. Otherwise, yes, this year started off rocketing and I didn't catch $NVDA-2.3%, but I did catch $META+0.2% and it makes me happy. Anyway, I still think it's already overbought and I don't expect us to go this way all year, I'm holding for now but will sell at the sign of a turnaround. I'm not buying tech right now and I'm looking more at sectors like Reit, transportation, maybe a little health care

No, I don't need it either. I'll buy tech stocks separately if I want to, here I prefer to be in the S&P 500 club. Plus, the Nasdaq is overbought for me right now, and I think it would be stupid to buy at this point (just my opinion).

I don't invest, I prefer MSCI all country. Btw what do you think is a better price to buy? How much of a percentage drop are you asking for?
