Does anyone hold stock in a company because you want to support it and believe in the idea? For example, I bought $TNYA+2.6%, although I mean only a little, because they are in the business of treating heart defects and are in the testing phase for a pretty breakthrough drug for me.

I'm going to repeat myself a bit but I have $AAPL+1.7% like this and if SpaceX ever has an IPO, I'd buy that too for support :) And since I like crypto, I joined Coinbase too :)

Great :)

Not really, it's pure speculation, I avoid that. And in healthcare even more so if one literally doesn't understand and follow their product and clinical trial development. And in the end, even if the company goes through multiple phases of a clinical trial, there's still no certainty that it's going to turn out well in the end.

I totally agree with that, that's why it's mostly about supporting the company and not entirely about the idea of making money from it, although having both would be great :D
