🗓️Přehled of important events for the coming week! 📊
Earnings season is coming to a close for us, so I will only be tracking the results of one company in the upcoming week. Not much to watch this week, but remember that we are already into September, which is historically the worst month for stock markets.
❌Monday: US Labor Day - US markets are closed. So we're having a bit of a long weekend.
🏭Tuesday: ISM Manufacturing PMI - This indicator gives us a clue as to how US manufacturing is doing. Fluctuations in the PMI can foreshadow changes in economic activity, so it's worth watching.
👥Wednesday: Job Openings JOLTS - Job openings information helps reveal the state of the labor market. A strong labor market often means strong consumer demand, which is a positive for many industries.
🌐Thursday: ADP Payrolls - This report offers a snapshot of changes in private sector employment. Employment growth may signal further economic growth. Unemployment Claims - A weekly statistic that shows the number of new claims for unemployment benefits. ISM Services PMI - The services PMI shows how the service sector, which makes up the majority of the U.S. economy, is doing. Tracking this indicator can reveal trends in economic activity and consumption.
✅Broadcomresults $AVGO after the markets close - Broadcom is one of the key technology companies. These can affect not only the stock itself, but the broader technology sector. 📈💻
💼Friday: US jobs report. Fed Governor Waller's speech - May offer insight into future monetary policy. Any mention of interest rates or inflation can move markets quickly. 📊
What events will you be watching in the coming week? How will you take advantage of tomorrow's time off in the markets?
I want to look at the $AVGO results today and I'll be interested in the Friday one too.
I find Broadcom interesting. I'll be watching the results, but I don't expect there to be a significant drop to create a buying opportunity.
This week wasn't that interesting for me. I will only look at the $AVGO results.
Personally, I don't think Waller had much of a say. He's gonna offer his perspective. But what happens next is for the entire FOMC to decide.
Personally, the only Fed I'm watching is Powell.
