ASML reported results that were excellent. The company is also gradually reducing its dependence on China, which makes me happy. The shares are up 9% in after-hours trading, and it’s quite possible that, thanks to positive sentiment, they could reach $2,000 within a few weeks.
Do you have $ASML in your portfolio? Do you think the stock could reach $2,500 this year?
I note that a 143% quarter‑over‑quarter increase in orders is extreme. Demand is clearly real, and I see having money in chipmakers now as a safe bet over the next three years.
It's a great stock — I'm up over 100% on it, although $2,500 is a stretch. Of course that would be awesome.
I sold out too early last year... classic :D... you can't have everything.
Great news, and they jumped nicely in pre-market. Fortunately I resisted the urge to sell last year :)

I have them. I'm happy. I opened a position around $700 last year. I believe $2,500 is an achievable milestone in 2026. I'll hold alongside AMD and we'll see how far it goes :-).

I did sell part last year, unfortunately, because I was afraid of the high valuation. Luckily I still hold the larger portion. I also sold my entire LRCX position this year because it already seemed heavily overvalued to me. The stock, of course, keeps going up 🤣
I'm letting ASML and AMD run for now and I'm curious how far they'll go. After a while I'll sell ASML too. There's a big difference between buying at 600 with a tiny P/E and the valuation now, which is historically much higher.
Wow. That's a massacre. It makes me happy.
