I'm not going to write any direct news today, rather I just want to give space to discuss how you think this first busy week is going so far and JPMorgan's outlook for today's Fed meeting, which I'm sure we will all be watching closely. 😊
Great, nicely written again. I'm also interested in the results of a few companies and the Fed didn't surprise in the end and raised interest rates by 25bps. I'm really enjoying this week😁.
Microsoft's fiscal quarter earnings revealed a gradual decline in Azure cloud revenue growth that overshadowed quarterly gains. Microsoft reported year-over-year revenue growth from Azure and other cloud services of 26% for the fourth quarter, down 1 percentage point from the previous quarter.
I'm curious to see what results $MMM will report today given the lawsuits that are dragging on with this company. But I won't miss the results from $MSFT either. Which results are you looking forward to today?
Next week we will report the results of several interesting and well-known companies such as $GOOGL, $MSFT, or $PG. I'm definitely interested in the results of $GOOGL, $PG, $MCD, and I'm also interested in the results of $MMM because of where they are. Of course, I look forward to seeing the results of the other companies as well.
What companies' results will you be watching... Read more
On Tuesday, eyes on $MMM and $VZ, and of course Google. Then looking forward to Thursday's $BTI. I'll end Friday with $WPC, where maybe some discount could come in.
I have shares of $GOOGL in my portfolio and would like to buy shares of $MSFT below. I agree with Peter and Luke, I also have more faith in Google and Microsoft.
Microsoft $MSFT has signed an agreement to keep Call of Duty on PlayStation following Activision Blizzard's acquisition of $ATVI. The agreement to keep Call of Duty on PlayStation could further ease concerns about the impact of the acquisition on competition.
But will it be enough or will they find something else? 🙄
Since I own $MSFT stock I like the acquisition, I like how Microsoft is developing the video game market, their cloud gaming is something great. I feel a little bit like Microsoft messed up with their Xbox, Sony is definitely better at consoles, that's why Microsoft is trying to attract people with cloud gaming where you really only need fast internet and a newer TV. I'm currently holding and don't plan on selling.
Finally! A US court has ruled that Microsoft $MSFT can go ahead with its planned $69 billion acquisition of video game maker Activision Blizzard $ATVI.
I picked up$MSFT pretty well at $235 and I'm still holding. I believe they will improve results with the help of AI, the inclusion of AI in Office and Windows will attract new customers. I didn't buy $GOOGL and I'm glad I have money in $MSFT, I like that one better.
Have a nice evening Buliosians, I would be interested in your opinions, how do you see the future of these two - technological giants? Which of $MSFT vs $GOOG do you trust more in the future? For example, can Microsoft steal the #1 spot from Google in internet search with the help of their AI? Have your say in the comments!
I like Microsoft better, I like their diversification and incorporation of AI into Windows and MS Office. Personally I hope their acquisition of $ATVI works out, that would give them a bigger share of the video game market.
AI! The most talked about topic in the investment world lately. We had a crazy tech rally during covid. When the pandemic ended, inflation and interest rates rose and the tech. mega rally was extinguished.
Now we have a new rally! ChatGPT has left investors feeling exuberant. And a new rally is in full swing as all sorts of future AI opportunities are priced in. That's why I've... Read more
