The company's revenue for the quarter was $23.5 billion, up 7% year-over-year. The company's operating profit rose 20% to $4 billion. Net income attributable to shareholders was $3.1 billion, up 15% year-over-year.
For the 36 weeks of fiscal year 2023, revenue was $63.6 billion, up 9% year-over-year. Operating profit increased 3% to $10.3 billion. Net income fell 7% to $7.8 billion. The drop in net profit is mainly due to an extraordinary loss of $1.6 billion related to the Russia-Ukraine conflict.
PepsiCo also reported third-quarter core earnings per share of $2.25, beating the Bloomberg consensus estimate of $2.16
