Quarterly results of companies in the week: 03.04. - 07.04.: Levi, WD-40, SAIC

Next week is pretty miserable as far as quarterly company results are concerned. We don't have any of the bigger and better known ones here, so we have to make do with Levis', WD-40 and RPM or SAIC, for example. Let's take a look at what the analysts think.

Levi Strauss $LEVI

Levi Strauss's first-quarter results may have been hurt by a challenging operating environment, including supply chain bottlenecks, inflationary pressures and a promotional environment.

The Zacks Consensus Estimate for quarterly earnings has been steady at 32 cents per share for the past 30 days, suggesting a 30.4% decline from the prior quarter.

The company's performance in recent quarters shows that it has surprised with an average gain of 14.3%. In the most recently reported quarter, the company's earnings beat the consensus surprise by 13.3%. The consensus estimate for quarterly revenue is $1,582 million, indicating a decrease of 0.8% from the previous quarter's level.

WD-40 $WDFC

According to Zacks Investment Research, based on 2 analysts' forecasts, the consensus EPS estimate for the quarter is $1.14. Reported earnings per share for the same quarter last year were $1.41 on slightly declining sales.

RPM International $RPM

The specialty chemicals company is expected to post quarterly earnings of $0.86 per share in its upcoming report, down year-over-year. Revenue is expected to be $1.8-1.9 billion, up from the previous quarter.

Science Applications International $SAIC

For the fiscal fourth quarter, the Zacks Consensus Estimate for revenue is pegged at $1.86 billion, indicating a 4.1% improvement from the year-ago quarter. In terms of earnings, the consensus figure is $1.63 per share, suggesting an 8.7% increase from the previous quarter's reported figure.

Lindsay Corp $LNN

This company is expected to post quarterly earnings of $2.15 per share in its upcoming report, representing a year-over-year change of +20.8%. The consensus EPS estimate for the quarter has remained unchanged over the past 30 days.

Dover Corporation's revenue is expected to be $2.11 billion, up 6.1% from the previous quarter.
